These are all about dressing up jars rescued from the trash. I have a hard time throwing away useful things. So as I have been accumulating glass jars of all sizes, I came up with a fun way to dress them up. Use them for storage, flowers, etc.

This one is decorated in one of my favorite things to paint - a bird and it's nest.
I've painted it on a canvas which secures to the jar with stretchy elastic so that it may be easily removed for easy cleaning of the jar. The canvas has been sealed with a matte varnish. The top of the jar is embellished with a ribbon and tag.
This jar does not come with a lid (or the paintbrushes shown in the last photo).

Jar dimensions: approx 8" high x 3 1/2" dia with a 2 1/2" dia opening.
